Introduction

The operating system for the VisionBox AI is based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 'Focal'.

The following additional packages are pre-installed for the VisionBox AI:

NVIDIA Jetson Linux Driver Package software (L4T)
Customized bootloader and Linux kernel
IMAGO SDK

The NVIDIA JetPack SDK is not included in OS releases, but it can be installed online (see Installing JetPack). The user can also install packages provided by the standard Ubuntu repositories.

Recovery package contents

New Linux releases for the VisionBox AI are provided as recovery packages. A recovery package contains the Linux image (tar.gz) and scripts for installing images and for creating backup images.
