Introduction

The FG Camera Library provides a C API for generic image acquisition supporting the ARM based VisionCam XM / LM and VisionSensor PV. The library is also provided for the amd64 architecture for using the Virtual File Camera.

The library provides the following key features:

Internal buffer management for prevention of dropped frames
Support for three trigger modes: free-running, software- and hardware-trigger
Common functions for sensor-dependent settings, e.g. gain, exposure time, AOI
Special functions for control of hardware-dependent features
Function calls are thread safe
